Annual checks confirm that our seaweed is fully traceable from its harvest site through to the bags of seaweed meal that come off the production line. OTCO certification confirms that the methods and concepts of sustainable harvesting have been recognised and complied with.
Icelandic auditor ‘Vottunarstofan Tún’ is an independent inspection and certification body. The agency examines environmentally-friendly and sustainable production, operations, and resources of careful harvests. Their inspections are annual and their certificates are issued accordingly.
Our organic brown seaweed capsules have been certified by the audit company Ökologischer Landbau mbH. It is one of the most experienced environmental inspection bodies covering processing, food imports and trade in Germany and Luxembourg under DE-ÖKO-007 in accordance with Regulation EC 834/2007.
You can promise benefits, or provide an official seal of approval. The ‘Original DERMATOSE® seal’ guarantees sustainable testing methods and provides assurances for both consumers and manufacturers. Products bearing this seal keep the promise of proven, confirmed quality. All of our cosmetics products have been rated ‘very good’ by Dermatest.
All of our cosmetic products hold COSMOS certification (IONC). COSMOS-certified products are manufactured to the highest standards for natural and organic cosmetics. This makes them safe, effective and user-friendly.
Our bath bags hold GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification, DE-ÖKO-001.
FSC® stands for “Forest Stewardship Council®”. The Forest Stewardship Council is an international non-profit organization and an international certification system for more sustainable forestry. The wood for our seacell® packaging bearing the FSC seal comes from forests that are cultivated in a responsible, socially beneficial yet economically viable way.
